We know her for her incredible vocals, gracious dancing, soulful performances, and yes, her bedazzled nails, but now, Rosalía is also going to be known as MAC Cosmetics new Viva Glam ambassador.

The Barcelona native teamed up with the beauty brand to bring us a gorgeous shade of red similar to the ones she dons onstage and on red carpets. It’s as if she took her music, her personality, and her style and mixed it together in this limited-edition lipstick that is reminiscent of Ruby Woo, a classic that became many women’s first red lippie, and a shade Rosalía herself admires.

However, Rosalía’s shade, VG26, has some blue undertones that makes the color seem like a deeper and brighter red. “I told them I always prefer a red with a little blue,” Rosalía said in an interview with Vogue. “It makes a big difference.”

“The incredible charisma, energy, and strength of Rosalía is the perfect incarnation of this vibrant, saturated red,” Baltasar González Pinel, MAC’s Director of Makeup Artistry, said in a press release. “Taking its roots in flamenco, Rosalía’s art mixes genres and emotions — it takes risks, it is full of generosity, it is pure brilliance.”

Rosalía joins a list of high-profile celebrities that have partnered with MAC Cosmetics for their Viva Glam line, which donates 100 percent of the selling price of the lipsticks to local organizations supporting women and girls, the LGBTQ+ community, and people living with or affected by HIV AIDS.

Some of the previous ambassadors include RuPaul, Fergie, Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, Nicki Minaj, Ricky Martin, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, and Sia.

Since its inception in 1994, Viva Glam has raised more than $500 million for charities globally. This year, they have also pledged to donate $10 million to 250 organizations working with communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic — especially those who’ve been disproportionately affected like the Black and Latinx communities.

VG26 is available for preorder now and will launch September 24.
