RBD took the viral hashtag #RBDSalvameDel2020 seriously and came to the rescue with their entire music catalog that is finally back on all digital platforms as of today.

After eight years of being absent from digital streaming platforms, fans of Anahí, Christian Chávez, Dulce María, Maite Perroni, Christopher von Uckermann, and Alfonso Herrera are able to enjoy the band’s nine studio albums at last: Rebelde, Celestial, Nuestro Amor, Empezar Desde Cero, and Para Olvidarte de Mi, as well as their English album Rebels, and the Portuguese editions Celestial (Versão Português), Nosso Amor Rebelde, and Rebelde (Edição Português).

To make things more appealing, the new official YouTube channel, RBD Oficial, shares the official videos by the band such as “Rebelde,” “Ser o Parecer,” “Nuestro Amor,” and “Sálvame,” and has already received the YouTube Silver Creator Award for having more than 100k followers before its release.

Thousands of fans had been waiting for this moment, after years of uncertainty over what seemed to be a legal dispute over the music’s rights. According to producer Pedro Damián in an interview from 2018, RBD’s songs weren’t available because most likely Televisa and their former record label EMI could not reach an agreement.

Now, Universal Music Latin came to the rescue and took ownership of the band’s music catalog. Their first order of business? Give RBD back to the fans on digital platforms as well as in physical format to carry on the musical legacy.
